This post made me giggle, and conjured up memories of a particularly style conscious friend of mine who was recently forced to wear a vision in apricot flowers with a silver jacket when she was a bridesmaid, much to her horror.  The only time I’ve ever been a bridesmaid was for my sister *suddenly feeling unpopular*, and she let me choose the material.  I chose a dark navy tartan silk, which back in the 90’s was the pinnacle of fashion!

Do any of you lot have any bridesmaid horror stories?

A number of theories spring to mind when looking at this picture. Maybe the dress was mistaken for a bed sheet (as you would) and washed in super-hot water. Or maybe they were on a kinda tight budget, and she couldn’t afford the rest of the material. OR (I bet it was this) maybe she was making table place labels on a tight time schedule just before the ceremony, slipped with her stanley knife, and chopped off the top of her dress. Thankfully her boobs escaped (excuse the pun) unscathed.

Whatever the reason, one would assume she’s pretty proud of those perky puppies. I bet nobody knew where to look at the wedding ceremony…
